This page is designed to help families affiliated with Fultwood Outdoors Academy, an educational support organization, understand the first steps of the NCAA Eligibility Center registration process.
Fultwood Outdoors Academy is not a school and does not issue diplomas or transcripts. Student-athletes planning to compete in NCAA Division I or Division II athletics must register with the NCAA Eligibility Center independently.
The link below provides you with a checklist of what your student needs to do by the end of 9th grade in order to be eligible for NCAA:
First Steps of the NCAA Eligibility Center Registration Process
-
Step 1: Confirm Whether Your Student Already Has an NCAA Account
Before creating a new account, families must confirm whether the student already has an existing NCAA Eligibility Center account. Accounts are often created while a student is enrolled in a public school, charter school, or previous private school.
Contact the NCAA Eligibility Center
If you are unsure whether an account already exists, contact the NCAA Eligibility Center directly:
NCAA Eligibility Center – Customer Service
- 877-262-1492
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Time)
The Customer Service team can assist with:
- Determining whether an account already exists
- Regaining access to a previously created account
- Providing guidance if an account was started by a prior school
Important: Do not create a new account until you have confirmed that no previous account exists.
-
Step 2: Access an Existing Account (If Applicable)
If the NCAA confirms that your student already has an account:
- Regain access using the Eligibility Center’s instructions
- Review and update personal information
- Verify prior school enrollment history
Once access is restored, continue maintaining the account as required by the NCAA.
-
Step 3: Create a New NCAA Eligibility Center Account (If No Account Exists)
If your student does not have an existing account:
- Create a new account with the NCAA Eligibility Center
- Enter all educational enrollment information from age 12 through the student’s current age (This may include public school, private school, homeschool, virtual programs, or educational service providers)
- Review all information carefully for accuracy before submission
Program Information for Students Using an NCAA-Approved Curriculum
Some students affiliated with Fultwood Outdoors Academy choose to complete coursework through an NCAA-approved online curriculum provider.
If your student selected this option, use the following program name exactly as written when entering curriculum information in the Eligibility Center:
Ed Options Academy
This entry applies only to curriculum reporting and does not designate Fultwood Outdoors Academy as a school.
